Partners

The partnership consists in 7 organizations experts in the field of reception for asylum seekers and migrant.

Fondazione L’Albero della Vita (FADV) is the project coordinator. It has a large experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder projects and technical expertise in foster care, facilities for migrants and in management of residential centers for migration attending around 7.000 beneficiaries in Italy during 2015.

Associazione Croce Rossa Italiana (CRI) has been operating over the last 10 years the field of reception of asylum seekers and migrants all over Italy in partnership with Italian Ministry of Interior, Municipalities and CSOs. Currently it runs over 70 facilities hosting around 5.000 persons. The project will focus on staff operating in SAFE POINTS located closed to disembarkation or transit areas providing assistance to migrants left out by national protection system. CRI, involved in all project work packages, it is in charge of implementing capacity building in 4 locations in Italy: north west (Genoa), North east (Venice), Center (Rome) and South (Palermo).

British Red Cross (BRC) supported 30.000 refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants working in 60 cities around UK providing support through orientation, food distributions, attitudinal change, support for Women and UAM. BRC employs 295 staff and 800 volunteers. Project action will be implemented in 4 different locations. Having developed a sound expertise in anti-trafficking, they provide with a thematic expert.

France Terre D’Asile (FTdA) works from 1971 in the promoting human rights and asylum seekers, refugees and UAM. FTdA assists over 10.000 people daily over France, furthermore it manages 33 reception centers for asylum seekers and a Transit center for resettled asylum seekers and refugees in Creteil (total of 4.522 places).

Fondazione ISMU is one the most influencing research center on migration in Italy and Europe, employing academic and professionals. It is entrusted with the missions of promoting studies and research and of carrying out documentation, information and training activities relating to the ever-growing ethnic and cultural diversity of the Italian society.

Svenska Röda Korset (SRK) embraced by 290 Red Cross associations in Sweden operating in connection with asylum accommodation. SRK employs 350 staff and 30.000 volunteers. Within the project they implement activities in 4 different locations.

The Romanian National Council for Refugees (CNRR) it is a NGO with public utility status working in partnership with UNCHR for the implementation of assistance programs for asylum seekers. From 2014 works to ensure gender equality among men asylum seekers.
